About Us

The Alpha Conference Centre was established by a Deed of Trust in 1983 as a non-profit making venue that would bring the market an inexpensive yet highly efficient location to facilitate the learning experience. It is our contribution to the skills development challenges facing our country.
We have gone to great lengths to create and preserve an optimum conference and training environment.

The Board of Trustees is a team of committed people who receive no remuneration whatsoever for their efforts.

The Board's vision is to provide an efficient, professional and affordable conference and training facility to the South Africa community. For this reason, it has ensured that everyone employed is a skilled hospitality professional. The Centre has a transport facility if you or your delegates need to be collected. The transport facility is also available for shopping trips or collections and deliveries during your conference.

Any excess of income over expenditure is ploughed back into the Centre for development - there are no profit-taking shareholders!

In addition, Alpha Conference Centre supports the community in which it is situated. In the year 2006, Alpha has made a donation to the Refilwe Community Project to the value of R60 000. This contribution is sufficient for Refilwe to provide comfortable and safe accommodation for 6 children and a house-mother. Please visit the Refilwe Community Project website and support the good work of an organisation reaching out to a community of 50 000 people.

The Deed of Trust states clearly that Alpha exists to serve the South African community - our stakeholders.
